About Named by Grace
Named by Grace is a free 90-second devotional about who God says
you are, published every morning on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.
One verse, one idea, one prayer. There is nothing to buy and nothing to join.
What we teach
Every devotional comes back to the same four convictions, so it is only fair
to state them plainly rather than make you infer them.
- Identity is received, not earned. It was given before you could
perform for it, and your record has never been the thing God uses as your name.
- Fear, guilt and shame are false identities, not permanent ones.
Scripture treats them as things to be exchanged rather than behaviours to be
managed — fear for peace, guilt for innocence, shame for honour.
- God still speaks, and hearing him is learnable. Not mystical, not
rare, and not reserved for professionals.
- The Kingdom advances by love, joy and peace — never by fear,
pressure or control. Anything that arrives by those means is running on
something other than the Kingdom.
Three things we will not do
- We will not shame you. Naming people by their worst moment is the
accuser's work, and we do not do it on his behalf.
- We will not sell you anything. No course, no book funnel, no
membership, no donations. The devotionals are the whole offer.
- We will not hand you a behaviour plan. These are about identity,
because what a person does tends to follow who they understand themselves to be.
Who makes it
Named by Grace is published without a name attached to it, and that is a
deliberate choice rather than an evasion. The channel's whole argument is that
the name you are given matters more than the name you make for yourself; putting
a face on it would quietly work against the thing it is trying to say.
Facelessness is not the same as unaccountability. What we believe is written
above rather than left vague, every claim is tied to the passage it comes from,
and there is a real address at the bottom of this page that a person reads.
About the Scripture we quote
Scripture is quoted mainly from the English Standard Version. Where a phrase
is rendered more plainly to make an old word land in ordinary English, the
reference is always given so you can go and read it in full for yourself. We
would rather you check us than take our word for it.
